How do you go about creating an xml def that isnt included in xml write. I can open and edit the A4TF520F rom in enginuity but dont have a def for ecuflash.

Grab the latest version of ecuEdit and use that. The new 2.2 version has a new feature to convert Enginuity xml defs to ecuEdit ones. I don't know how that works because I've never had to use it, but that's going to be your simplest method. Other way would be to manually change the xml format on your Enginuity def to match those needed by ecuEdit.

well what I needed was an xml for ecuflash but I guess I'll just edit/tune in enginuity and only flash with ecuflash.

Im new to this also-do you mean that you can see all the data/parameters/make changes in Enginuity, but if you open the same file in ecuflash you cant see them(apart from the ROM info)???
If that is the case-can you still flash the parameters in this way???

Gary.
