This might be a master stroke by the FIA.
They have been so concerned about the increasing speed of these cars (and other classes), now the ECU's will start running slower every race, and with every new feature added or changed they will also slow down and become slightly more unstable.

Probably by the end of the season the only cars finishing will be those teams with not enough money for any development or testing.

I'd be worried having anything MicroSoft running in my car, especially if if was an F1 anything..... (blue screen of death takes on a whole new meaning) :)
