why does IAM value only read "1" for the '05 sti??

why does IAM value only read "1" for the '05 sti??

when i log the IAM value for my car it only reads "1". why is that?

IAM on the drive by wire models varies from 0 to 1.

A "1" is equivalent to a "16" on other models.

thanks for the info....... so a value of "0" = 0 and a value of "1" = 16!!!

Equivalent, yes. 0 is still the lowest possible value, and means your ECU isn't too happy with timing.

I think the default starting value on reset is 0.5 for DBW as well, though I don't have a map value for it on my ROM.

0.5=8
1.0=16
