Where do I find the case ID and Internal ID on my EVO ECU?

Postby allcdsrus » Sun Jun 18, 2006 2:09 pm

Im lead to believe its under the dash, but can anyone indicate where exaclty. I see the Plugs I connect to but there is no labelling there but there is another large white section at the opposite side.

Thanks in advance

If you mean, where is the engine ECU...?

Behind the glovebox on the 9.

Open glovebox.
Find peg thingy, top right hand corner, slide and remove.
Push the left hand side in, to push passed that stop peg and drop the glovebox down to access behind to locate ECU

Hi

If you read the map and upload it to the Mistubishi ROM files part of this web site, I'm sure someone will have a look at it for you. What model and market is the car?

:!: Attention! MR975815 is a PASSANGER AIR BAG MODULE for CS2-CS5 Lancer JDM. Don't touch it.

Hi

You have to take the ECU out to see the case number. If you can see all the wires going into the ECU you should be able to see where the ECU is held in, on my car there are 3 M6 bolts.

You realy need to take the glove box out, the stopper nearest to the centre of the car pops outand then you can get the golve box out.
