Removing OpenECU Tune

Hi

Bit of a random question here I can't imagine many people would want to do this as I can't seem to find any info on there about it.

I have an 02 wrx that i bought with an open ECU tune. Now I need to return the car to stock (basically just an turbo back exhaust) so I would like to be able to remove the tune also.

1) Is this possible to do.

2) What will I require to do it easily I don't really want to spend money to do it.

1. Absolutely.
2. Find someone with an OpenPort cable and a laptop that runs ECUFlash. Find the stock def for your car and ask them to flash it in. Should take all of 2 minutes.

Thanks for your help so far I think I might be able to take care of it myself. I have been doing a bit of reading and watching and have an idea on what to do now.

However where would I get the standard defs from?

My bad- I meant standard ROM. Lots of places, either search this forum for your rom code, or romraider, or scoobypedia. If all else fails request it here; someone will have it.
