i have a 1996 mitsubishi lancer,its the old shape.
1.6 sohc
steel case ecu
i have taken the ecu out it reads as follows on the white sticker on the top of the case

on the side it has another sticker reading

The plan is to turbo this engine and ecu or even be able to up the performance of the engine,i am new to this lads!i know i need to get a cable to connect to my laptop or pc,does anyone have info on what obd this ecu is?and is it capable of much??it has 64 pins.
has anyone chipped one of these ecu's for a turbo??or what do i need to do??
will it cost much??

ecu isnt flashable its possible to use later ecu (plastic case ) 99 on from similar model and flash that but if it has an external immobiliser ( steel case usually situated just behind the radio to the right rhd model) theres some re wiring to do .

I am trying as also to get some infos regarding the pinout of the same ECU.I am planning to install an EVO 8 ECU on the car but so far no luck to get the pinouts of the OEM ECU of the car
