I searched the forum, but am not able to find answers.

1. Will the software also work on Lancer CY0 DiD 2.0 diesel, year 2008?

2. The software is seing my brothers VAG912 cable as Ross-Tech cable, but it drops connection to the car.

So, here is my question....

Am I trying it the right way (OBD-2 connector is on the left part beneath steering wheel)?

Will the cable from the store work with my car?

It is not that I would try to tune myself, but a bit of reading and watching wont hurt.

Not sure about DiD version; it will probably work but no guarantees.
We can only really be sure that the Tactrix OpenPort2 cable works with ECUFlash software. Get yourself one of those and see if it will read your car's ROM. Better still, find someone who has one for you to try before you buy.

It is a VAG engine (16 valve Audi - Volkswagen). But am not sure if the software is from Mitsubishi or not.
