Hey guys...
Just a question...
When I try to read my ROM of my car... its being saved by ecuflash as a bin file...
In my old laptop, it always saved as a hex file...
How do I make it save it as a hex file??
By the way, I'm using EcuFlash 1.43.3150 Beta for Windows XP/Vista/7

.bin & .hex seem to be used interchangeably for ROM images. It doesn't really matter what you call it; .rom is just as good.
It could be argued that .bin should be used for raw binary images, and .hex should probably be used for Intel hex or Motorola hex format files etc, but nobody seems to follow that convention.
