Interesting discovery for two things.
The 2002-2007 lancer auto ecu is a SH7055 memory model type and the result is 512kb.
The rom can be successfully read and written to with the old sh7052 without bricking it but the transmission portion of code sits inside the other 256kb portion including the maps to shift time, shift pressure, and down shifting duties.
There is more in that segment of code but i'm too lazy to figure out all out atm with ida pro 5.2
Essentially another read template needs to be made to show a difference for the lancer manual and lancer auto ecu's
Side note: The Evo7 GT-A rom is also a SH7055 memory model ecu with the aforementioned maps nearly the exact same as the lancer auto. I would say that the lancer auto is the grandfather map to the evo 9 since the maps and code are so similiar.
