p0300 misfire after map

p0300 misfire after map

Hi i have an evo 8 in that we have fitted a new clutch in and mapping

the mapping went well

but later on after some driving the car has a random misfire and gets the code p0300
has any 1 had this before

did you adjust tps ?? and or add timing at idle /cruise

no more than any other evo i have done
some one has said to change the rom id to 96260009 ???
and some one also said it could be the lighter flywheel ??

adjusting the tps to 100% at wot seems to aggravate it , i had it on my own 4 with evo7 ecu using 90550001 if i adjust tps to 100% at wot i get po300 if i leave it at 98 % i dont .

i have put the std map back in and it still does it when it has been running for some time
some one told me its the lighter flywheel ? but cannot see how it could be lol :?

doubt very much if the flywheel would cause that il have one here next week with the same prob il see what cures it or maybe what doesnt :lol:

ok

the car drives very well with no miss if you keep it above 75mph it does not seem to do it
if you sit at 55mph it will start to miss (run on 3 )
