Hello all,

I am a bit new to this sw. I got my tactrix 2.0 working on a EVO7 from 2001 with ralliart ecu but when I open the file all the maps are greyed out. Do I need a different def XML file??

internal ID is 92460000

I attached readout binfile.

Thanks in advance for the help.

BR
Martin

in ecuflash click file then options then change user level see what happens if it doesnt work try the attached def, download and save to ecuflash/ rommetdata/mitsi/evo if it asks to replace existing click yes. looks like someone has been in there before

thank you very much, yes someone has been in there before and we are trying to figure out if this file could have damaged anything because the brandnew engine died because of detonation in the cilinderhead

Thanks again

what boost other mods did it have , i know fuel maps values can be a mile off actual afr but it does look lean 80-160 load 1500 rpm up and 14deg timing 0-50load at idle , trying to combat big cams ?

Well, the engine has a brown and crower stroker kit to make it 2.4 liter with 9,12:1 compression. offcourse forged pistons.
The cilinderhead was flowed and the entire engine was blueprinted.
All with GT35 turbo and sharper cams. I thought something like 272 degrees or so.
Right now we have small holes in the cilinderhead wich I think was caused by detonation. It builds up pressure in cooling system.

Are the values that I see exact and real values??
Also, I see in high and low octane fuel maps, load goes to 300% and my tuned one only goes to 280%

No definitely not real values ,you need to log and check fuel with a wideband , for example in my own car 12.1 in the fuel map is 11.8 afr on the wideband measured in downpipe approx 3ft from turbo elbow .

ok, that makes sense to me, and what about ignition angle??
We actually measured lambda, and that looked okay, but I found it veryy rich on full load from 6000 rpm and higher, it went to lambda 0.73 wich is as rich as just not pissing out the flame

timing maps are close enough . if its tuned with lean spool still on thats prob why it goes rich there ,in ecu periphery 1 fba bit 0 , its set to 1 change to 0 to switch off lean spool then tune again
