You can now attachand upload files to your posts to share with other users. You can also see all of the attachments available for download by clicking the "download" icon/text at the upper right navigation area of every page.

enjoy!

I will also extend an offer to host any files needed. PM me, or email the file to freonr2 at (google's mail service domain).

I can host with direct download, single click directly from the forum, any file under 25.0MB. No limits, no popups, no click here, then click here, then popup and click again, etc. Should be able to serve 300+kB/sec to pretty much anyone in North America.

Only car related stuff for this forum, though. No serving your pr0n! :)

Timeouts?

Postby wroom » Tue Mar 28, 2006 10:46 am

Great!

I rate this site as Turbo+++ :thumbs-up:

Just one simple thing - Is there some timeout on the downloads?
Because i cannot download more than about 1.2 MB with my poor bandwidth.
Everything larger gets cut halfway.

And, since the download protocol is HTTP it cannot be resumed.
Had it been ftp download, it could have easily been resumed and finally downloaded.
And ftp downloads are easer to load balance on the server.

Guess i have to mooch in on a buddy with a faster connection... 8)

I like the new forums. However, where did the download link go to. It used to be in the upper right hand corner. There was some very useful information that I had been going through.

Sincerely,

Matt
