How can I find map address?(fuel, ignition, rev limit, speed limit).

I own a Hyundai with Beta II (G4GC engine). Can you share on how to download the ROM ?

what did you use to pull the rom off the ecu?

I did not pull out the ROM, managed to communicate using KWP2000 protocol over the OBD2 connector. Asian Kia/Hyundai does not use the standard OBD2 PID as per J2012 standard for DTC. There are download and modification software available for Kia/Hyundai, but so far limited to the hands of dealers / agents

I'm knee deep in disassembling a tiburon 2.7 v6 rom I could take at look at this one too and see if I can make some sense of it for you.

Personal goals is to decode the rom space with IDA pro and then see if the chksum and seeded keys can be determined from there.

I believe figuring out the chksum's shouldn't be a big deal thanks to andy's work on the me 7.5 which uses the same c167cr cpu.

Does anyone know what model siemen's processor this thing is so I can find a datasheet?

The processor is a TC1796, i just purchased a Openport 2.0 so if i can be of any help please contact me and let me know as i have the car willing and waiting to help in anyway i can.
