LC-1 Installation

Postby Semper » Wed Oct 29, 2008 10:44 am

Hi

I'm currently running about 420bhp hawkeye and thinking of installing an LC-1. What are the downsides of making a "permanent" install in the tailpipe?

It's a lot easier to access for calibration.

Cheers
Stew :)

Innovate has advice on the subject in their LC-1 manual.

Innovative recommend installing the sensor after the turbo and before the cat.

Thanks for the responses. I'm fully decatted. Decided to install in the tailpipe, just after backbox. In the 12 o'clock position. Route the cable straight into boot and through car.

Will update with how it goes...
