Mitsubishi Chariot GDI

I posted this problem that I have in the "Technical ECU Reverse Engineering - Mitsubishi (Other) forum" and had no response. Perhaps, this forum would be more appropriate and would elicit at least some response.

I own a Mitsubishi Chariot GDI 2.4L - 1999 Model and I have tired reading the rom of my ecu with ECUFlash using the cable for my Evoscan. EcuFlash could not read my rom. I guess it does not support my vehicle's ecu.

I really would like to get my hands on the maps in my ecu to see if I can improve the performance of my car. Attached is the pic of the ECU. Is there anyone who can help or suggest what my options are?
