MY99-00 ( AE802 ) impreza adress problem ?

Postby Frenzy » Fri May 02, 2008 7:49 am

Hi ,

I'am looking to make ecuflash definition for AE802.
I've problem...

I know that the rev adress is from 1360 to 137F ( 16 cell )
I know that the engine load adress is from 1370 to 138F.
I know that the fuel map is from 1380.

When i put these adress in ecuflash , all the map is 14.7 , exept the rev cell and the engine load cell who are 0.0 . Why ?

How to enter an adress in ecuflash ?

When you edit table metadata you put the addresses in hex.

Post a pic of the fuel map you display and the "edit table metadata" window?

Can you post the ROM or a link to it if it was already posted?

I am used to looking at the load in this ECU in decimal - it is 8 bit, 16 items. RPM is also 8 bit.

AFR scaling 14.7*128/x - it is again 8 bit.

Thanks mate !

Now the scaling for AFR and boost are OK !!!

But it's not running

How to enter an adress when you have the hex adress in the rom ?

( In the rom that i've posted next day , the AFR map is line 138 , collum F , so the hex adresse is 0x138f or 138f as you want... )

I guess the maps here aren't self-defining like they are with the HC16 ECUs.

Frenzy I still don't understand the problem. Just use a hex editor and you will see the layout.

This is what i'm doing mate... :?

I can see my map in winols , at the adresse that i've located

The AFR map start on 138f , and end on 148E.

It's running on winols , but when i put THE SAME adress in ecuflash , this is not running...

The problem is only how it shows in the Ecuflash editor.

The answer will be somewhere in your base or definition files. If you can define from scratch that would be best - I had a quick look in my 1.29a and I only had Mitsubishi options in there and didn't have time to look further and find the AE802 identifier etc.

If you just want to display or edit maps then WinOLS will do it fine for you, as will Ecuedit, Enginuity etc.

What does your fuel map look like now in Ecuflash? Can you post the latest screenshots as you did before?

Hi.

The french community have found the problem !

In fast you need to add 10000 to the ofset.

So when you want to put 138F , you need to whrite 1138F.

Why ? Don't no... Can freon explain ?

Timming advance are ok.

Maf is in progress.

Duty and boost too , they're ok , but throttle isn't ?

Maye be need add over 10000 ? Or less ? Don't no...
