Speed Limiter

Postby mixja » Thu Feb 02, 2006 1:35 am

Finally got the chance to test top speed on my MY06 Spec C Type RA - 170 (km/h)..180..190.........and hit the speed limiter

Is there anyway to disable the speed limiter or increase the limited speed by reprogramming the ECU? I understand there is a line from the speedometer to the ECU, which goes +5V once you hit the limited speed....

I think if you read a bit you will see you can easily defeat the speed limiter by adjusting the value at the offset. (Among many other values for tuning your car.)

I increased mine to 200km/hr, 180 was just a little low for me.
