I've been reading a large number of the posts here and theres some very interesting work going on.
I'm after a bit of advise if possible - does anyone have any info on the function of the various maps in the ROM code of the various ECUs?
I've been working with Nissan ECUs for a while now, and, from what I can tell, the calculations or model used in the Subaru ECUs seems very similar.
In the code its pretty easy to see where the main ignition, fuel, MAF maps are, but my disassembly skills are pretty much non-existant
so its difficult to find rev limits, the injector scaling constant etc etc.
Attached is a .bin file I downloaded from my ECU (I think its RAM h000-h7FFF then ROM h8000-hFFFF). And heres a guess of the location of some of the maps:
Fuelling
Map: 8120
TP scale: 8110
Rev scale: 8100
Ignition
Map: 8500
TP scale: 84E0
Rev scale: 84D0
VQ map: 8080
