Q: Reading ECU

I would like to know if reading the ECU (copying data to computer)
WOuld I need the following
1. Connect the green connectors (under dash)
2. Use the LoopBack Jumper (white MY05)

this is just to read and not to flash

You don't typically need the flash block to read, but to write.

And, of course, you need the openport cable.

Do i need to connect the green connectors too ? if i dont use the loopback to read

Yes, you need the green connectors connected to read.

TO CONFIRM:
you do not need the LOOP BACK connector
BUT
you do need to connect the Green connectors to READ the ROM
